Build a BikeBuild a Bike is back! Do you want to make this Holiday season special for a deserving child? Do you fondly remember the late nights assembling gifts for your own children? Do you need to practice your assembly skills for your children’s or grandchildren’s toys? Then we invite you to participate in this year’s Build a Bike event! And how about that mall? Or the glow of the screen and the point and click of the mouse? Stressful and impersonal enough for you? How about getting up close and assembling a gift that will be a treasure for a very lucky recipient? Now we are talking the spirit of the Holidays! Build a Bike might be just the ticket. And how about your youngsters? Maybe this is a moment to teach them a bit about working and giving? Nah, they don’t need to learn about that! How about assembling a couple of bikes as a family? A bike with a helmet is a modest $ 65.00. Your elf crew will start collecting bikes as soon as you sign up and sign up forms will be available shortly on line and in the club. So join us and commit to a bike or two and come on down to your Sequoia Yacht Club on December 10th at 2:00, to enjoy some pizza and beer and put them together! Or watch our talented elves navigate the bike build process on your behalf. The bikes will remain on display until they are collected by the Redwood City Fire Department (holiday catastrophes permitting) at our Holiday DID on December 16. |
